{ black and white delight - kitchens }

I'm a big fan of black and white spaces in general, but I especially love the pairing of these opposites in kitchens.  It's classic, dramatic, and the perfect backdrop
 to showcase pops of your favorite color.

Those white wingback chairs give
 this kitchen such a formal, glamourous feeling.
A coat of black paint took these builder grade,
arch- paneled oak cabinets from blah to beautiful.
I'm pretty sure everyone knows by
now that this is Kate Spade's kitchen.
The graphic stripe window seat cushion is the bee's knees.
And that checkerboard floor is so timeless.
How lovely are these pendants?
Pops of yellow! This is so happy!
This dark tone island is the perfect
 contrast to all those light surfaces.

Your eye goes right to those whimsical turquoise stools.
The power of a bright paint color is amazing.
It might just be me, but I feel like having a kitchen
 like one of these might magically make be a better cook ;)
