Virtually all of our boys' toys now reside in our living room, and that's been the case ever since we moved into our home more than a year ago. The Mr. and I are pretty tired of tripping over fire trucks, cars, and meticulously crafted animal parades (love you, Happy Jack!). We're ready to move most of these things out of our main living space. We've had big plans for a basement playspace, but it seems like home improvement projects take place at a snail's pace with two little ones. We're finally taking (baby)steps to finishing our basement. We have dreams of it being a fun, creative spot for reading, art-creating, and imaginative play. I'm gathering inspiration images, and here are a few cheerful rooms that caught my eye.

I am sure that this one is showing creativity at its best. They are simply looking great and awesome.
