{ excellent entries }
But, alas, this is what greets me when I come in the front door. Yikes. Adding some order and charm to this little spot is next on my project list. As you can see, I've got my work cut out for me! How great is the plastic purple, teal and pink coat rack? Get this. This little number was left behind by the previous home owners, and when hubby painted this wall, he deemed it a good plan to remove this rack, paint, then reattach it to the wall. Um, thanks, dear. His argument is that we actually are using it, so clearly it was a good idea on his part. I'll show him. I've got a plan.
I already have a bench (albeit in need of a coat of white paint) that looks a lot like this. It'll be the perfect spot for parking my squirmy toddler when it's time to don our shoes before dashing out the door.
I'll need to make a cushion. I want to use a fabric like this.
Or maybe this one. I'm always a sucker for damask.
I picked up a simple shelf like this for a steal at eight bucks. Eight!
I'm thinking of framing this etsy print and putting it on top of the shelf.
And possibly this sweet bird family print too.
I'd love these lacy baskets from The Container Store for storing shoes and such.
Adoring this cool mounted initial from Anthropologie.
That's all I have so far. I'll keep you posted on my progress :)

{ wednesday wish list }
This sweet, swiss dot daisy blouse from Anthropologie is the perfect thing to wear to a picnic.
Show your state some love with these super cool, graphic prints from etsy seller, qadesign.
My dream living room would have a wall of built-in bookcases backed with this awesome wallpaper from Ballard Designs.

{ closet coveting }
This one is tiny, but the wallpaper makes it ever-so-chic. I'm pretty sure my closet makeover will involve a fabulous, graphic wallpaper.
Miley Cyrus' closet is pretty dang cute and spunky.
Working from home? Here are some beautiful office closets.
Ooooh, or a closet-turned-library? Now we're talking!
Kids' closets can be transfomed into some fantastic, creative spaces. I really like these fun sleeping and reading spots for children. I'm totally stealing this idea and turning Happy Jack's closet into a reading nook. A two-year-old doesn't need space for hanging clothes, right?
Yikes. This bunk bed closet is such a neat idea, but it would most definitely not be a good idea for my little daredevil's room. I can practically hear the bones breaking just looking at this picture.
Whoa. This is the ONE. Just look at what Brittany, from Pretty Handy Girl did with her son's closet. She did this all by herself! I am in awe. You can read all about this phenomenal project here. She is my hero. I can't believe what this woman accomplishes without the help of her husband. Truly impressive. Don't you just want to close the curtains, curl up with your munchkins and your favorite Maisy book, and doze off in there? I know I do.
